Article Snippet: Funding information National Cancer Institute, Grant/Award Number: ZIA BC 011513 Abstract Carbonic anhydrase-9 (CA9) is highly expressed in clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) cells despite no expression in normal kidney tissues.. Thus, CA9 has been proposed as a theranostic target for radioligand therapy (RLT).. However, ccRCC tends to be radioresistant and may not effectively respond to RLT.

Article Snippet: The respective roles of aligned collagen fiber morphology found in the extracellular matrix (ECM) of pancreatic cancer patients and cellular migration dynamics have been gaining attention because of their connection with increased aggressive phenotypes and poor prognosis.. To better understand how collagen fiber morphology influences cell-matrix interactions associated with metastasis, we used Second Harmonic Generation (SHG) images from patient biopsies with Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) as models to fabricate collagen scaffolds to investigate processes associated with motility.. Using the PDAC BxPC-3 metastatic cell line, we investigated single and collective cell dynamics on scaffolds of varying collagen alignment.

Expression of the aberrantly glycosylated MUC1 peptide motif in lung and breast cancer tissues upon 16A antibody staining. (A) H‐score of the cancer tissue array stained with the 16A antibody. The intensity of IHC staining was scored at four levels: 0 (negative), 1 (weak staining), 2 (medium staining), and 3 (strong staining). The percentages of tumor cells at different intensity levels were evaluated. Total Score = (% at 0) ×0 + (% at 1) × 1 + (% at 2) ×2 + (% at 3) × 3. (B) 16A positivity in lung cancer, breast cancer, and triple‐negative breast cancer (TNBC) samples. (C, D, E, F) Representative photographs of MUC1 immunostaining in peritumoral (C), lung cancer (D), Non‐TNBC (E), and TNBC (F) tissue with the 16A antibody (original magnification ×200). Positivity was defined as ≥30% of tumor with staining ≥2+.
