Figure Legend Snippet: The consistency of YAP and LRP1 in tissue microarray specimen. ( a , b ) TMA slides include forty skin melanoma tissues and eight skin normal tissues which locate on the bottom of the each TMA. Representative images of IHC from HCC TMA stained with anti-YAP or anti-LRP1 antibodies. Scale bar, 100 μM. ( c ) Representative images of IHC from skin melanoma HCC TMA stained with anti-YAP or anti-LRP1 antibodies. Scale bar, 100 μM. ( d ) The statistical figure of skin melanoma IHC images from HCC TMA stained with anti-YAP or anti-LRP1 antibodies. The TMA data were analyzed using the χ2 test.
Techniques Used: Microarray, Staining

![A. Representative images (10× with 40× insert) of normal adjacent tissues (NAT) and adenocarcinomas. A tissue micro array (TMA) purchased from US Biomax, Inc. <t>(PR242b)</t> was stained for pseudouridine and imaged at 10X and 40X. Cores with Gleason 3+3, 4+3 and 5+4 were used for representative images. Staining is primarily localized to the cytoplasm of glandular cells with negligible staining of the gland cells belonging to normal adjacent tissues (NATs). B. Plot of H-scores of normal adjacent tissues and adenocarcinomas. Each individual core was evaluated by an in-house pathologist for the presence of cancer, and given an H-score. The final H-score is the summation of (1+i)pi where i is the intensity score [0 (lowest)1+, 2+, 3+, 4+(highest)] and pi is the percent of the cells with that intensity. The p-value was calculated using a two-tailed unpaired t-test in Prism, where an alpha value of 0.05 was considered significant.](https://pub-med-central-images-cdn.bioz.com/pub_med_central_ids_ending_with_4038/pmc06734038/pmc06734038__ajceu0007-0262-f3.jpg)
