Nobel Laureate
Prof. Roger Kornberg

Awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2006. Professor of Structural Biology at Stanford University School of Medicine. Prof. Kornberg is also cofounder of Cocrystal Pharma (OTCBB:COCP) and chairman of the SAB of ChromaDex (OTC US:CDXC). Prof. Kornberg is also a Foreign Member of the British Royal Society and a Member of the US National Academy of Sciences. Prof. Kornberg holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Physics from Stanford University.

Prof. Ada Yonath

Awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2009. Professor of Structural Biology at the Weizmann Institute of Science. Prof. Yonath is also a Member of the US National Academy of Sciences and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Prof. Yonath holds a Ph.D. in X-Ray Crystallography from the Weizmann Institute of Science.

Prof. Michael Levitt

Awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry in 2013. Professor of Structural Biology at Stanford University School of Medicine, and Professor (by courtesy) of Computer Science at Stanford University. Prof. Levitt is also a Fellow of the British Royal Society and a Member of the US National Academy of Sciences. Prof. Levitt holds a Ph.D. in Structural Biology from Cambridge University.


Prof. Jevin West

Assistant Professor of Information Sciences at the University of Washington. Prof. West is a Big Data expert focusing on data science, network analytics, scholarly communications, and information visualization. He co-founded Eigenfactor, a research platform for mapping science and identifying influential papers, journals and scholars. Dr. West holds a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Washington.


Dr. Hadar Shemtov

Serves as a search quality expert at Google. Prior to Google, Dr. Shemtov was group program manager for search relevance at Microsoft, head of the search sciences lab at Yahoo!, and a researcher/lab manager at Xerox PARC. Dr. Shemtov holds a Ph.D. in Computational Linguistics from Stanford University.


David Vaskevitch

Founder and CEO of Mylio. Served as the CTO of Microsoft from 2001-2009 (SVP of Business App Division, VP of Distributed App Platform). Mr. Vaskevitch also formed the Software Division of 3Com Corporation, and is a board member of LivePerson (NASDAQ: LPSN).


David Perlmutter

Founding partner of Eucalyptus Growth Capital. Served as Intel’s chief product officer/executive vice president, and also as general manager of the Intel Architecture Group. Mr. Perlmutter is a member of the Board of Governors of the Technion and a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

Mark Leslie

Founder and former CEO of Veritas Software (acquired by Symantec for $13.5 billion). Mr. Leslie is also a lecturer at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, and a board member of NetApp (NASDAQ: NTAP) and Model N (NYSE: MODN), among others.

Prof. James Spudich

Professor of Cardiovascular Disease at Stanford University School of Medicine. Prof. Spudich received the Albert Lasker Award, the Wiley Prize in Biomedical Sciences and the Massry Prize. Prof. Spudich is a cofounder of MyoKardia and a cofounder of Cytokinetics (NASDAQ:CYTK). He is also a Member of the US National Academy of Sciences. Prof. Spudich holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Stanford University.

Prof. Adam de la Zerda

Assistant Professor of Structural Biology at Stanford University School of Medicine. In 2015, Prof. de la Zerda was selected as the Pew-Stewart Scholar for Cancer Research. He was also selected for the Forbes Magazine “Forbes 30 Under 30” in Science and Healthcare in both 2012 and 2014. He also received the DoD Breast Cancer Research Program Award. Prof. de la Zerda holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
