Article Snippet: For lineage evaluation and cellular characterization, a comprehensive immunohistochemical panel (indirect immunohistochemical technique with endogenous peroxidase blocking and chromogenic detection) was performed, consisting of Ionized calcium‐binding adaptor molecule 1 (Iba‐1; Polyclonal Rabbit Anti‐Human, Thermo Fisher 1:100), PAX‐5‐BSAP (B‐cell‐specific activator protein; Monoclonal Mouse Anti‐Human, Dako, Ready To Use (RTU)), CD3 (Polyclonal Rabbit Anti‐Human, Dako, RTU), IRF‐4 (Interferon Regulatory Factor 4; Monoclonal Rabbit Anti‐Human, Abcam, 1:100) and Pancytokeratin AE1/AE3 (Monoclonal Mouse Anti‐Human, Vitro Master Diagnostica, RTU), aimed at excluding a potential primary renal epithelial neoplasm.
