Astyanax mexicanus growth trial. Both atp4a +/+ and atp4a −/− animals were fed a 3% body mass ( M b ) ration of pellets. In the first 3 weeks, both groups were fed non-treated pellets. In weeks 4 and 5, both groups were fed the same ration size of pellets dosed with <t>omeprazole</t> (25 mg kg −1 M b day −1 ).
