ONS data showed smaller gender gap, where prescription gabapentinoids were included in the deaths. Stakeholder interview analysis revealed that prescription drugs were identified as a potential risk factor in the observed increasing DRDs for women, with particular concern including substances such as gabapentinoids and benzodiazepines..
