Article Snippet: Cell invasion assay was carried out using Corning Polycarbonate Membrane insertion transwell chamber (Product #3422, Corning Costar Corp., Cambridge, MA, United States). cells (1 × 10 5 ) in serum-free media were placed into the upper chamber while media containing 20% FBS was placed in the lower chamber as a chemoattractant to perform migration assays (without Matrigel) and invasion assays (with Matrigel, Sigma) at 24 h post-transfection.
