Bound bacteria was stained with Sybr Gold and visualized under fluorescent microscopy. Imaginary and actual impedance was plotted on the Y and X axis respectively. The high frequency area is being shown here. At higher frequency (over 1 kHz) resistance increases in proportion to the number of bacteria in solution.
