CuO NP and CuO MP were incubated in (A) H 2 O or AAF for 24, 96 or 168 h at 37°C, (B) in DMEM/FCS for 2, 4, 8, 16 or 24 h or in DMEM without FCS for 24 h under cell culture conditions (37°C, 5% CO 2 , 100% humidity) or (C) in ALF for 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 24, 96 or 168 h at 37°C.
